oQuay Enhances Underwater Inspection Fleet with Innovative Sentinus Robot
Blue Atlas Robotics is thrilled to announce its partnership with Dutch inspection service provider, oQuay, in the expansion of its fleet with the addition of the Sentinus underwater robot.
The Sentinus robot is an underwater inspection tool that has quickly become a game-changer in the world of underwater inspections. With faster inspections, better results, and intuitive controls, it’s no wonder that oQuay has chosen to incorporate the Sentinus into its fleet.
As a company that specializes in inspections above and below the waterline, oQuay is known for their innovative techniques and technologies that allow them to clearly visualize the condition of hydraulic structures.
“We are excited to be a part of oQuay’s fleet expansion with our Sentinus underwater robot,” said Mads Andersen, CEO of Blue Atlas Robotics. “The addition of our robot to their fleet will allow oQuay to provide faster and more accurate inspections, while also providing stable and intuitive control to the operator”.
Demonstration of Sentinus
The Sentinus robot has already demonstrated its effectiveness in capturing details in challenging environments. During a demonstration in the Netherlands, the Sentinus robot successfully inspected a canal wall in poor visibility conditions, capturing valuable information about the canal conditions, which was then converted into a 3D model of the area.
The advanced features of the Sentinus, combined with the ability to produce 3D models of inspected structures, will provide oQuay’s clients with a great form of documentation that can be revisited multiple times with ease.
The partnership between Blue Atlas Robotics and oQuay is a testament to the power of innovation and collaboration. With the addition of the Sentinus underwater robot to oQuay’s fleet, the company will be able to provide faster, more accurate inspections of water-based structures, setting a new standard in the industry.
